Breakthrough in spate of casino
robberies

THE police claim they have made a major breakthrough into the spate of
casino robberies with the arrest of five men outside Carnival City
Casino in Brakpan on Tuesday.
The men were identified by security staff as those who robbed
Graceland Casino in Secunda on Saturday.
Gauteng SAPS spokesman, Senior Superintendent Mary Martins-Engelbrecht
said the police see these arrests as a major breakthrough.
Security sources have indicated they are believed to be part of a
Zimbabwean gang involved in casino robberies and cash-in-transit
