Security Change Coming?

To keep society safe from terrorist attacks...the look of security... such as noticeable security guards at Amtrak...could change...by becoming invisible.

In five to fifteen years, security analysts say most americans will be in for tighter security.

When commuting, count on cameras....including more police cameras that will soon be watched by computers.

Also, if you circle a government building too many times...license plate recognition software could give police instant pictures and maps of everywhere else you have been...then match that with your driver's license, cell phone, internet, and credit records.

All of this is an increase in security that some feel we don't need.

Mario Amijo of west El Paso says, Things like library's and parking lots...we don't need that much security it's intruding to our lives...intruding yes."

"Yeah, I think it's fine...nothing has happened to us since that Sept. 11th," says Crystal Urquiti.

Jessica Montoya of west El Paso, "I feel pretty safe here in El Paso, but I think around the U-S there are certain places where they need tighter things."

Security experts say to keep people, who use public transportation, moving... they want to develop built-in security detectors inside the transportation center like the one at Amtrak - so that you can just walk in and be scanned and then board your train.
