VisionGauge® OnLine,
Here are some of the main new features and enhancements contained in this latest update:
* We’ve added support for motorized optics (i.e. “Power Zoom and / or Focus”) in VisionGauge® OnLine. This tool can be found in the “Command” sub-menu or accessed through the “Ctrl+W “ hotkey combination. We’ve also included a “Set Motorized Optics” tool in the “Program Toolbox” to automatically change the zoom and / or focus settings during an automated program. Note that the measurement calibrations are automatically adjusted (using high-order interpolation) whenever the optical magnification is changed.
* We’ve added a new “Set Illumination” tool in the Program Toolbox to automatically change the illumination to pre-programmed values during the course of an automated program.
* Along with the ability to output High / Low signals based on the PASS / FAIL result of an operation, we’ve added the ability to save TRUE or FALSE results in “Results Variables”, based on the PASS / FAIL result of an operation. The TRUE / FALSE values of these “results variables” can then be used – in conjunction with AND / OR Boolean (i.e. logical) operators, to produce output signals. This in effect gives the ability to output a signal HIGH / LOW signal based on the result of multiple operations. Note that these are no requirements on the nature of the operations involved. This means that, for example, the operations can be of a different nature (e.g. pattern matching, color verification, measurement, etc, etc…).
* We’ve added the ability to insert a short pause when a program starts-up (this can be enabled / disabled through the “Program Toolbox | Options” menu). The duration of this pause is user-specified. This can be required with certain hardware configurations, where the images are initially unusable because the image acquisition hardware takes a few milliseconds to properly “synch” with the video signal.
* In the program Toolbox’s “Options” menu, we’ve added an option that you can use to indicate that the polarity of output triggers should NOT be automatically inverted following output trigger pulses.
* We’ve added both Horizontal & Vertical Profile tools, in the main window’s “Tools” sub-menu. These tools allow you to quickly see, in graphical form, the luminance profile, either horizontally or vertically, across the entire image.
* We’ve carried out a few minor enhancements in the “Counting & Sizing” tool.
* We’ve automated the “Interlace Offset Correction” tool in the main window’s “Edit” sub-menu.
* This update also includes a new “Counting & Sizing” sample program.
